Ruru Retreat

This was one of, if not the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. It was exactly as described and shown in the images, but even nicer in so many respects. The house was clean, convenient, well stocked with all the essentials, warm, and comfortable. The hosts hadn’t cut corners by leaving two coffee pods or one roll of toilet paper, as so many companies seem to now, which detracts from the overall experience. The furnishings weren’t cheap and nasty, shortcuts hadn’t been taken in the fitout, and everything was spotlessly clean. This made a big difference to the overall experience as the whole experience was easier and more equipped than we usually find Airbnbs. We didn’t have to sort, fix or deal with anything. The location was extremely convenient and close to town, yet also quiet and just far enough away from the CBD as well, it really was just perfect. The views were stunning, especially under the stars in the hot tub, with the outdoor fire going. We will definitely be back.

10/10 would stay again. The stand out was the hot tub heated and ready for arrival, an indoor and outdoor fireplace, central heating, heated floor in the bathrooms with additional heaters. Has everything you need, washer, dryer, dishwasher, pod machine with pods. 10 minute walk from the main centre. Host was friendly, helpful and responded quickly.

Absolutely fabulous place to stay, so comfortable and beautiful views. Great location easy to walk to centre of Queenstown. The host was pro active and even send my shoes back home for me. Highly recommend

This place is an absolute gem. The view is breathtaking, the house is clean with premium finishes, it’s a short walk to town (which is nice because you’re not in the thick of it) and the hot tub is great too! If this place is available, it’s well worth the money.

This is probably the best Airbnb we’ve ever stayed it. It was extremely clean, with every small detail taken care of. Beautiful home with lovely touches throughout, like good products in the bathroom and lovely linen. Stunning view, hot tub was a hit with the kids. Absolutely loved it and couldn’t recommend it more highly. Thank you for having us.
