Bridget & Aaron Murphy

Bridget & Aaron Murphy – Founders

Aaron and Bridget have a huge love of travel, having lived and worked all over the world managing 5 star resorts in the Caribbean, Fiji, Thailand, Australia.

After many years of travelling around it was time to come home to New Zealand to raise their two daughters. After living at the beach for so long they thought they’d try the mountains and have fallen in love with all the incredible sports at their fingertips here in Queenstown. With trail running, mountain biking and snowboarding at the top of the list.

Having come from a hospitality background their aim is to make your experience with Luxury Stays Queenstown an unforgettable one. If they can do something for you to enhance your stay, they will.

Not ones to stick to a script, they want you to leave your villa feeling like you’ve just left a retreat and are planning your next visit already.

Kate Stoddart – Guest Services Manager

Originally from the UK, Kate is an outdoor enthusiast who is constantly inspired by new hobbies since living in New Zealand’s ultimate playground – Queenstown. Having joined the team in 2022 as Operations  Manager, Kate now predominantly focuses on property management and guest services for Luxury Stays Queenstown.

She works very hard to consistently deliver the highest standard of services for our guests and has an impeccable eye for detail. Kate has a warm and welcoming energy about her, and her love for New Zealand shines through when chatting to guests and recommending experiences and activities – ensuring they have nothing less than the most memorable time possible.

Fernanda Silveira – Property Manager

Fernanda moved to New Zealand from Brazil nearly 10 years ago and has been working for us for over 9 years now. She is very much family after having worked in every facet of our business over the years and has contributed massively to the business’s growth.

A natural born leader with an impeccable eye for detail – Fernanda is highly respected amongst staff and has the ability to anticipate what people need, before they’ve even realised it themselves.

You can be sure if you ask Fernanda to do something it will be done 110%. Fernanda is a very calm natured woman, who handles working under pressure very well and will go above and beyond to make sure everything is running as smoothly as possible.

Joe Robinson – Property Manager

An exceptional asset to our team, one that we would simply not be where we are now without – Joe handles all maintenance and home owner communications.

When he arrived from the UK to Queenstown 7 years ago and started working with us, Joe had already acquired an impressive amount of experience within the real estate industry. Without any given direction from us, he began to self-teach himself multiple trades and over the years has removed the need to instantly pick up the phone and call out to professional tradesmen when issues arise. A huge job for just one person, Joe is nothing short of a superhero.

Thanks to his perfectionism and genuine deep level of care of the upkeep of all our properties, he is consistently meeting the needs of our clients and guests, understanding how frustrating it can be when things go wrong or are not quite as expected during your stay.
